Dear Parents and Guardians,
I'm sure most of you can remember me but I'll formally introduce myself today.
My name is Mr. van der Westhuizen. It's very long, I know. Don't worry, you can call me teacher Steph. I am the English teacher for G6 A2.
I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to provide you with some important information regarding homework assignments and communication.
Homework is an integral part of your child's learning journey, and to ensure their progress, we have implemented a routine. Starting from today, your child began receiving daily homework assignments. This practice will continue throughout the week, except in cases where no homework is assigned. In such instances, your child will note "No Homework" in their communication book.
To help you plan and support your child's studies, I will be posting a weekly homework plan every Monday on our class blog. This blog will also serve as a platform for any additional information I might need to convey. It is essential that you check both the communication book and the blog on a daily basis, so you can stay up-to-date with your child's schoolwork and any important updates.
I understand that you might have questions or concerns, and I encourage you to reach out. You can email me directly or jot down your thoughts in the communication book. If you're more comfortable communicating in Chinese, please feel free to do so. My wife is Taiwanese, and she'll assist in translating your messages.
